At the Call for Sites Consultation event held on 31st October we presented 10 possible sites for possible building in the next years.

As usual you, the people of Scrooby, turned out on Halloween and gave us your thoughts, comments and advice. The SNAP Steering Group thank you all for those and your support.

Details of the sites are now available here: scrooby.net/snap.

The next step will be a consultation in the New Year to fully present those findings and your comments and proposed outcome from the Steering Group. In the meantime please refer any further thoughts and comments to the Chairman of Scrooby SNAP on scroobysnap@btinternet.com.

Hester Benjamin: Adventures of a Pilgrim Daughter

Jennie Robbins

Scrooby's own Jennie Robbins has published a book for children; a story of friendship, love and adventure, set in Scrooby, England, at the time of the Pilgrim Fathers. A work of fiction for young teenagers based on historical events in the year 1607.

Hester and Mercy are as close as sisters; nothing can come between them. But events are about to shake their peaceful village life to its roots and change things forever. How will their friendship survive when they are forced apart by their families and their faith?
