OFFICIAL SHOW RULES

  1. The decision of the judges shall be final.
  2. Any complaint or protest must be made in writing to the Secretary before 3.30p.m. together with one pound deposit returnable if the complaint is sustained.
  3. Entries will be accepted as stated on the entry form. Entrants may not go into the tents before registering all entries.
  4. All exhibits to be staged by 10:30 a.m. on the morning of the show.
  5. All exhibits to be cleaned before entry.
  6. The Committee shall not be responsible for loss or damage to any exhibit.
  7. The entry fee must be paid before entries can be accepted.
  8. Points to be awarded for best in show are as follows: 1st. prize 5 points, 2nd. Prize 3 points, 3rd. prize 1 point.
  9. The Judges are empowered to withhold prizes where there is insufficient merit.
  10. All exhibits not for sale must be so marked. No exhibits to be removed before the presentations.
  11. All the exhibits must be the exhibitor's own produce or have been in his/her possession for at least 8 weeks prior to the show with the exception of floral art displays.
  12. All trophies presented at the show will be in the safekeeping of the holder and must be returned on 1st. August next to the Secretary.
