Both the day screening of Toy Story 3 and the evening showing of The World's Fastest Indian were well attended, and the films popular.
Nineteen people paid to see Toy Story 3. The exit poll showed the audience enjoyed the film; thirteen people said the film was Brill!, one person Good, two people OK, and one person said Bad.
Nineteen adults came to the evening showing of The World's Fastest Indian. Again the exit poll showed the film was enjoyed; twelve people rated the film Brill!, and one person rated it Good.
We began June with 66p in the kitty. Entry fees totalled £152.00, and £49.22 was taken at the sweets and drinks counter. The film licences cost £172.00. So we end June with £29.88 in the kitty.
This month's screenings are TOY STORY 3 and THE WORLD'S FASTEST INDIAN.
Amazingly for a trilogy, the third and final part of Toy Story is reckoned to be the best of the lot. Anthony Hopkins stars in The World's Fastest Indian; a much-loved story of an eccentric pensioner who takes his homemade Indian bike to the land speed trials.
Come along half an hour before the screening time; meet up with the other cinema-goers, and let us know which films you have liked and would like to see.
Please tell friends about the screenings. Send them the details. Bring them along.
We have kept the entry price at £4 per ticket. We are also offering season tickets at £40 for one year; that's two showings free.
