Monday 3rd December 2009 7.30pm Scrooby Village Hall
1. Present

3. Minutes of Last Meeting
Proposed as true record by Dennis Marshall and seconded Heidi Robbins. All agreed.
4. Matters Arising
There is to be a public meeting at St Winifred's Church in Ranksill at 7.30pm.on January 14th 2010 regarding the future of the STAR newspaper.
5. Correspondence.
Nothing to discuss.
5. District Councillor's Report
None given.
6. Finance Report
Dennis reported that he had sent through the recovery documents to reclaim all VAT
The gas bill has not yet been received, meter readings are to be resent.
Present status presented. See appendix A attached.
7. DSA Robin Hood Report
Nothing to report.
8. Police Report
None presented.
9. Village Plan/Planning
The Village Plan is still with BDC.
Planning application for a downstairs extension to Alpha House, Manor Road, Scrooby. The PC has no objections
10. Play Area/Village Hall
Village Hall
A new cleaner is needed for the Village Hall. The Village Hall committee are in the process of trying to sort this. The wage rate may be increased.
Ed continues to replace light bulbs in the Village hall as necessary.
The guttering on the front of the Village hall needs some repair. Ed Marshall and Dennis Marshall will fix the brackets.
James Arrowsmith and Graham Robbins have agreed to put the lights on the Christmas tree which stands outside the Village Hall.
The window in the kitchen has now been repaired.
Play Area
The chicken still needs repaired. Matt Pollard to repair.
The net for the climbing frame is still awaited.
The stabilizers for the goal posts have now been put in place.
Graham Robbins is to replace the fence panel which was removed for the Village Show,
11. Environment
New fence posts needed along the edge of the Croft on Manor Road.
Dennis Brooke to seek quotes for a Beech hedge for the edge of the Croft on Manor road.
Ann Robbins informed the PC that another tree had been donated and planted on the Croft by the Scrooby Village show committee.
The organisers of the Scrooby show have agreed to by a new tree every year after the show.
Due to the high level of fly tipping on Mill Lane it was agreed by the PC that a hedge would be purchased to fill in the most prominent gaps on the lane. Cost would be £93+vat. The hedge would be Thorn, Blackthorn and Quick thorn
The registration number of one car tipping on Mill Lane has been reported to the police.
Ed is to contact DC Terry Yates with regard to having a permanent skip on Mill Lane.
12. Any other business
The PC agreed £30 donations towards the cost of the meat for the senior citizens post Christmas party.
Dennis Marshall and Matt Pollard are to meet up in between meetings to organise updating the neighbourhood watch co-ordinators. Matt Pollard is to become the lead co-ordinator.
