Parish Council Minutes
Monday 2nd March 2009 7.30pm Scrooby Village Hall
1. Present
Ed Marshall, Heidi Robbins, Matt Pollard, Tracey Crowe.
Also present; Kirsty Blower, Mr Taylor - resident of Scrooby.
2. Apologies
Dennis Marshall, Christine Bailey & DC Terry Yates.
3. Minutes of Last Meeting
Proposed as a true record by Tracy Crowe and seconded Heidi Robbins. All agreed.
4. Matters Arising
Green Lane has now been classed as a Bridleway.
5. Correspondence/Declaration of any other business/topics
Nothing to address.

None Given
7. Finance Report
None Given
8. DSA Robin Hood Report
No report given.
9. Police Report
None given. Matt Pollard informed the PC that he would be happy to take the leading role in creating a higher profile for the neighbourhood watch.
Tracy Crowe reported that The Hollies on Chapel Lane had been broken in to.
10. Village Plan and Planning
The Village Plan has been submitted to BDC.
No other planning issues.
11. Play Area/Village Hall
A new catch has been fitted on the gate leading into the play area.
Dog signs to be ordered.
NNL to be asked to quote for the removal of the chicken in the play area.
The Village Hall now has a post box.
New ladders have been ordered for the Village Hall.
Kirsty Blower attended the meeting to give an update on the completion of the village hall refurbishment. Kirsty reported that the project had come in on budget.
Kirsty requested that a small amount of funds be made available by the PC for light refreshments for the village hall opening. All agreed.
12. Environment
Ed informed the PC that David Clay-Thomas will continue to be the litter picker for Scrooby.
Ed informed the PC that some wood posts and fencing has been put along the edge of the whinze to try to reduce the amount of fly tipping.
Clerk to contact NCC requesting dog fouling bins.
13. Any other business
Clerk to place an advert in the post office at Bawtry for a new Parish Council Clerk.
