St Wilfred's is a church built in Magnesian Limestone in the Perpendicular Gothic style (1350 - 1530AD).
Scrooby mill sits on the old course of the river Ryton. It was a flour and animal feed mill in operation until the early Twentieth Century.
This field contains the buried remains of the medieval manor of the Archbishop of York. Only a part of the gate house survives as upstanding masonry; though converted to a farm house in the Eighteenth Century.
The Pilgrim Fathers is the local pub, serving food and drinks throughout lunch, afternoon and evening.
